...and what a busy one it will be! David starts his new job at Optimus on Monday and will be in orientation with his former boss as new employees together--weird, huh? But not to worry, his orientation is only half a day, and then he starts his first project in Dalton, GA. I guess they're not going to let any grass grow under his feet!
Christopher arrived back in Seattle safely after a week in Atlanta. It was nice to spend some time with him, and he and David enjoyed planning their Tour de France trip, admidst cries of "Vive le France!" Unfortunately, that seems to be the only French either of them know, so David is going to have to study French as well as Finance over the next few months.
We will be spending the next two weekends in Mineral Bluff for a little family time. Anne Marie and Chris will be home then as well leaving for their Spring Break in Las Vegas on the 5th of March and returning on the 12th of March. Since we don't get to see them often enough, we're going to spend the two weekends they'll be at mom and dad's up there. Additionally, we have a few birthday's to celebrate: Mine next weekend (belated--Feb,. 16) and David (March 19th) and Mom's (March 14th) the weekend of the 13th. There's also a rumor that Lauriann, a.k.a."The Phantom", will be coming home that weekend to start on wedding plans. Did someone say wedding? That's right, Lauriann is soon to become Mrs. Craig Jones in a whirlwind "love at first sight" ceremony. We wish the soon-to-be newlyweds all the best!
